Frank Herrera raises $132-thousand for Mike Watts

A private fundraiser at the home of Attorney Frank Herrera for Democratic Senatorial hopeful Mike Watts raised $132-thousand dollars for the Mike Watts for Senate Exploratory Committee.

During an impassioned speech, Watts drew cheers and applause when he outlined his agenda as the next Texas Senator. According to Watts, "business as usual is not acceptable." Taking off his coat and tie and rolling up his sleeves, he said, "it is time to get to work and stop coddling the insurance industry and elect someone who represents the people of Texas for a change."

He also thanked his host, Frank Herrera for his kind words and his willingness to host the fundraiser.
