Monseignor Thomas French has passed away @ 88 years old
It is with
great sadness that we share that Msgr. Thomas A. French, Professor Emeritus of
Religious Studies, died on Sunday June 17, 2012. He would have been 88 years
today. Msgr. French spent all of his 63 years as a priest on this campus and
taught generations of students over the years.
What most people do not know is
that all of his teaching was done as contributed services. He also served as
Chaplain for the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word and several leadership
positions in the Archdiocese. Funeral arrangements are still pending but may be
later this week or early next week.
