Making telephone calls is one good way to reach potential voters for Ciro. But it is insufficient. Many registered voters who might vote for Ciro have unlisted telephone numbers or cell phones which are unlisted. The only way to reach these folks is by mass mailing and by blockwalking.
While blockwalking is time-consuming and an activitiy many people are unable for physical handicap reasons or unwilling to do, it is the most effective and least expensive method of reaching those who can't be reached by phone. Blockwalking is more personal than mass mailing and useful in determining the extent of support the candidate has in the community or precinct. But effective blockwalking requires a lot of individual commitment participation.
Ciro needs lots of volunteer blockwalkers out there campaigning for him during the last days of the runoff campaign. Instead of going to a gym to do your workout, why not get a precinct blockwalking list along with campaign flyers from headquarters and walk door to door and meet some voters? Most voters are nice folks, whether they're independents or Democrats. The exercise will do you good and you'll be making a significant contribution to getting Ciro elected. Thank-you.
