"Be good stewards and take down political signs"

Commissioner Tommy Adkisson asked Northwest Democrats at the November 18th monthly meeting to, "be good stewards and take down political signs."

According to Adkisson, all candidates and their supporters need to remove the signs since the election is over and some voters now consider them clutter. He pointed out that most of the signs are reusable for candidates future campaigns.

I agree that everyone, including Democratic candidates, should take down their campaign signs after the general election, except those who are still in the race for Congress, Dist. 23.

I'm especially tired of seeing the signs of former Republican candidate for state rep. dist. 125 "Bleed-oh" still up on Bandera Road. Give up, Bleed-oh! You lost! Take down your eyesores and let us all live in peace!
