Walk to cure Diabetes at Shops at La Cantera, Oct. 13th

San Antonio 2007 Walk to Cure Diabetes at The Shops at La Cantera, 15900 La Cantera Pkwy, Saturday, October 13th beginning at 8 a.m. (check in at 7 a.m.) 4,000 Walkers are expected to attend and raise over $600,000.

The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) has sponsored the annual Walk to Cure Diabetes in different cities across the nation for the past 37 years. Due to increasing number of participants, this year JDRF moved the Walk to the San Antonio Walk to Cure Diabetes to The Shops at La Cantera, 15900 La Cantera Pkwy.

Registered participants will walk a 1.5-mile walking track, people will cheer from the sidelines, and families will enjoy food provided by our sponsors and entertainment by local bands and performers.
