State Rep. Puente announces his retirement to constituents

State Rep. Robert Puente told a constituent gathering at his house, Saturday morning, October 20th that he is not running for re-election. He said "it is time to move on." Numerous supporters shed tears along with longtime political consultant JoAnn Ramon who spoke at length about Puente's willingness to fight for his district and his accomplishments as the Chair of the powerful Water Committee in Austin.
