Seven UTSA students blockwalked for County Court Judge Al Alonzo, Saturday, October 21st.
Gathering at the Judge's home, the Judge and his wife, Maria Elena Torralva fed them breakfast, informed them about Drug Court and its impact and they all hit the streets in their Re-elect Judge Al Alonso tee shirts.
All seven students are also members of Omega Delta Phi Fraternity Nu class.
"We blockwalked for the Judge because we support his community outreach programs geared toward showing students the dangers of drinking and driving, and doing drugs,” stated Alfredo CabaƱas, a UTSA sophomore and blockwalk organizer.
Additionally, all seven students stated their desire to increase college student participation in the upcoming election.
