To give you an idea how grueling politicking on a Saturday one week before early voting can be, I followed judicial candidate for Probate Court#2 Barbie Scharf-Zeldes and husband Adam and their two sons Justin and David on the campaign trail.
Barbie attended seven different events, Saturday, October 14th. From Fredericksburg Road, West Woodlawn, N. Main, S. Alamo, and Willowwood on the East Side and Comanche Park on Rigsby, it proved to be an exceptionally long day.
It included Adam putting up signs along the way, Barbie shaking hands, passing out flyers and tee-shirts and answering hundreds of questions about her campaign and particulars about what Probate Court deals with daily.
Here is a photo snapshot of her day, not necessarily in order of events.
