The 2006 Judicial Preference Poll put out by the San Antonio Bar Association has released its results.
According to those results, 1,161 lawyers voted on those candidates running for re-election or for higher office.
Those statewide Democrats outscoring their opponents include: candidate J.R. Molina over incumbent Judge Sharon Keller, the presiding Judge for the Court of Criminal Appeals; 465-414, and 4th Court of Appeals candidate Dan Pozza over candidate Steve Hilbig; 766-336.
Locally in the District Court races: 45th District Court Judge Barbara Nellermoe over Diane Rivera; 759-301, 225th District Court candidate Peter Sakai over Marialyn Barnard; 789-316 and 408th District Court candidate Larry Noll over Judge Richard Price; 625-453.
In County Court #1, Judge Al Alonso over Samuel Adams; 599-341, County Court #3 Judge Paul Canales over Blair Davis; 740-307, County Court #6 candidate Ray Olivarri over candidate Wayne Christian; 508-502, and County Court #7 Judge MOnica Guerrero over candidate Genie Wright; 607-321.
Finally: District Clerk Margaret Montemayor over candidate JoAnn Ponce Gonzalez; 835-206.
