Bolanos speaks out on Republican hypocrisy

As Republicans brag about how aggressively and swiftly they took care of Mark Foley, supposedly "forcing" him to resign (ya, sure); news from other sources tells a tragically different and surprising story.

With every day that passes, more evidence comes to light proving that too many Republican lawmakers, including its leaders, knew about Foley.....

One of the latest revelations is that of Congressman Kolbe R-AZ. He reports having learned of lurid messages from Foley to a page as long as six years ago, and says that he confronted Foley about them immediately.....

Although it now seems clear that many Republicans knew about Foley-the-Predator for years, Republicans blame Democrats......

For years, they had the national media trained treat Democrats like untrustworthy buffoons, and Republicans as if they were above reproach, so much wiser and moral than any Democrat.....

Media virtually ignored the stories that revealed the cold, black hearts of these Hypocrites, self-adorned in Christian clothing.....

Forget that this administration has eroded away decades of progress towards helping people overcome their misfortune, to the greater good of our nation. Instead, just consider a story or two that some in the press covered....

The quintessential example includes DeLay, Abramoff, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI), and sexual slavery...

While DeLay and his supporters claim to be Anti-Abortion advocates, they're actually Anti-Choice mongers. In CNMI, when the inevitable occurs and the enslaved women become pregnant, there is No "Choice" for them.

Employers make the decision and that decision is abortion. Remarkably, DeLay has praised the pro-Abortion, anti-Choice employers with "You are a shining light for what is happening to the Republican Party, and you represent everything that is good about what we are trying to do in America and leading the world in the free-market system."

Now over a year and a half old, the Marianas story should have been more than enough to wake America up, to make all media and Americans finally realize that those in charge are Hypocrites, only shells of Christianity and Wisdom, filled with an incompetent, seemingly evil interior.

Marianas should have been enough to show the world that the mantra of those currently in charge is "Winning is Everything and No Cost is too High." When the cost was "merely" the lives and the freedom of young Asian women, too few in America noticed or cared.

Now that we see that the Speaker of the House and other leading Republicans have also been willing to pay with the innocence of our youth, year-after-year, the culture of this country may finally start returning to sanity and truth.

Sacrificing our young, just to maintain their false fronts of wise piety and their firm grip on our nation, seems to be the trigger for the American people to finally, finally lose their long-time respect for the Republican's "Winning At Any Cost" articles of faith.
