San Antonio Alliance Endorses Michael Soto for SAISD Board
I am thrilled to report that I have been endorsed by the San Antonio Alliance of Teachers and Support Personnel, the SAISD employee affiliate of the National Education Association (Texas State Teachers Association) and the American Federation of Teachers (Texas AFT).
I am truly honored and humbled by the endorsement. My mom and campaign co-chair, Josie Soto, worked as a paraprofessional in the Brownsville ISD for over 15 years and was a proud member of the TSTA during that time. Her salary may have been modest, but her benefits package kept three sons healthy and in school, and today it supports her in retirement.
The Alliance endorsement is a major step on the path toward victory on May 9th.
On the Campaign Trail: Campaign Videos, your support has been a tremendous source of energy and inspiration. A big "thank you" to all of you who have been by my side in body or in spirit throughout the last several months.
