March is Women's History Month, and Dress for Success San Antonio is hitting some historical milestones of our own:

In May, we moved to a location downtown that is far more convenient for our clients. Thank you to the University Health System Board of Directors and George Hernandez, President of University Health System, and Steve Enders, Senior Vice President, Ambulatory Services, General Administration for University Health Systems for allowing us to occupy such a wonderful facility.

The current location is strategic, located between the Bexar County Family Justice Center and the new Haven for Hope 22-acre homeless campus.

During the last six months, we have served an average of 70 new clients per month. Last week, we suited 17 women in one day! We opened our Career Center in October, 2008, and already its training services are in much higher demand than we anticipated. We have a network of computers serving staff and clients.

Several professional organizations have taken an interest in our clients and are helping us help them in different ways. In alphabetical order, this month's benefactors are:
  • Accenture
  • ARMA
  • Bexar County Medical Alliance
  • Mocha Lyfe
  • National Hispanic Professional Organization
  • Nieman Marcus
  • Saks Fifth Avenue
  • We Lead
