San Antonio Library announces its new bookmobile

The San Antonio Public Library Outreach Office is proud to introduce its new bookmobile. This 32-Foot long, Wheelchair-accessible van is a library on wheels, with its own collection of 3,500 books and it's own heating/air conditioning system.

What can your staff and customers do on the bookmobile?

1. Register for a library card ( free to Bexar County Residents)
2. Check out books, ranging from children's stories to "how to's" on personal finance, college preparation, health, retirement and much more. And we have plenty of bestsellers by favorites such as James Patterson, Nora Roberts, Nicholas Sparks, Steven King and Mary Higgens Clark, in large print as well as regular-sized print.
3. Reserve books, music, and movies owned by the San Antonio Public libraries.
4. Create an Interlibrary Loan account. We can also customize our collection: if you need books about a particular topic-computer skills, business writing, time management, salesmanship, you name it-let us know and we will stock them.
