District 1 Council Candidate

Gaining Momentum with Your Support!

First off, thank you. The campaign is gaining momentum every day and now is the time to push it to the top. With your continued help and generous support we’ve covered a lot of ground in a short amount of time. We are receiving lots of positive feedback and the media is covering the campaign with interest.

Most importantly, all the communities of District 1 - people from every background, hailing from every neighborhood, including Downtown - have discovered that their unique voices and issues all have a place in this campaign. Please continue to spread the word. Together we will make it to City Hall.

This challenge begins with a strong showing of support. In the next two weeks there are several opportunities for you to participate, and we’d love for you to join us.

First Friday, February 4th
On Friday, February 4th, join us for First Friday in Southtown where we will continue to get our message out to the community. Meet us at the Friendly Spot, 943 S. Alamo at 5:30 for a quick info session before we start.

It should be a lot of fun! For those deputized to register people to vote, this is a great opportunity to move San Antonio forward. We'll have extra voter registration applications on hand so you can continue your great work.

Official Campaign Announcement on Main Plaza, February 12th
Saturday, February 12th, at 10 a.m. we will gather in the heart of Downtown, at Main Plaza, for our formal campaign announcement, where we will publicly outline our vision for District 1 and San Antonio. We invite each of you to attend; bring out your friends, family, and neighbors. All are welcome.

Blockwalk with Diego and Connect with your District
After the announcement festivities, we invite all of you to join us the afternoon of February 12th as we go door to door throughout the District and continue to inform the community about our campaign, our message, and the power of voting. More details will be provided soon.

With your help, we can win this race. Let's get there together.

"We Are 1"
Sincerely,

Diego Bernal
