Lt. Governor David Dewhurst has announced his appointments to key State Senate committees. State Senator Leticia van de Putte has been named to continue to Chair the Veterans Affairs & Military Installations Committee, appointed to the State Affairs Committee, the Business & Commerce Committee, & the Education Committee.

State Senator Carlos Uresti has been named Vice Chair of the Administration Committee, appointed to the Health & Human Services Committee, the International Relations & Trade Committee & the Sub-Committee on Agricultural, Rural Affairs & Coastal Resources.
