Philip Cortez announces for District 4 Council seat

Philip Cortez, announced his candidacy for the San Antonio City Council District 4 seat, Saturday, January 27th at the VFW Post on S.W. Military Drive.

He is endorsed by former San Antonio Mayor Ed Garza and former District 7 Councilman Julian Castro.

Cortez is the community liaison for the South Texas Blood & Tissue Center and also serves as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Air Force Reserve. To date he has no opposition. Filing dates are from February 12th to March 12th.
