Cesar Chavez March committee to meet Jan. 20th

The Committee organizing the 11th Annual Cesar E. Chavez March for Justice to be held Saturday, March 31st, will meet at Tito's Restaurant Saturday, January 20th for its second organizational meeting.

According to Jaime Martinez, chairperson, the March will assemble at Plaza Avenida Guadalupe at 11 a.m. on the 31st and begin marching at 1 p.m. to the Alamo.

Rita Chavez, the older sister of Cesar Chavez, will serve as the Grand Marshal, Claudia Sanchez will serve as the Youth Student Grand Marshal and Entertainer Johnny Canales will be the Guest of Honor.

The event is co-sponsored by the City of San Antonio.
