District 8 candidate
Join me at Hunter's Creek Clubhouse, 3630 Hunter's Circle, Saturday, Febuary 3rd at 11 a.m. as I announce my candidacy for District 8 City Council position in the 2007 elections.
District 8 is currently being represented by Councilman Art Hall. Councilman Hall is blocked from running for re-election by term limits which restricts council persons from running for more than 2 terms of office.
What have I been doing for my neighbors lately?
Since 1995, I have been involved in numerous community programs. I have been active in the Hunters Creek Neighborhood Association since 1995, serving as the Codes and Covenants Chair and as President for the past four years.
During that period, I attended the Neighborhood Leadership Program, sponsored by the Neighborhood Resource Center, the Public Works Academy sponsored by the City of San Antonio, plus numerous workshops to enhance my ability to work for our neighborhoods.
I am also the President of the Northside Neighborhoods for Organized Development (NNOD) an umbrella organization of District 8 neighborhoods addressing issues such as development, zoning, traffic, water quality and other concerns of this large and diverse area.
Vote for Ken for the right reasons!

Your Neighbor & Friend,
Ken Lawrence
