Cowboy Breakfast comes to Balcones Heights


The 29th Annual Cowboy Breakfast comes to Balcones Heights, Friday, January 26th in the parking lot in front of Dave & Buster's at Crossroads Mall, 4522 Fredericksblurg Road at the intersection of IH10 & Loop 410 from 5-9 a.m.

Cited by the Guinness World Records as the world's larget cooked breakfast in 2001, the Breakfast kicks off the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo.

This year they will serve 10-thousand sausage & egg tacos, six-thousand chorizo & egg tacos, 25-hundred servings of fluffy biscuits, eight-thousand biscuit & sausage sandwichs, 10-thousand barbecue beff tacos, eight-thousand sweet rolls, five-thousand pints of milk & orange juice, four-hundred gallons of coffee, & one hundred twenty-three gallons of cream gravy.

Balcones Heights Convention & Visitors Bureau Director Lorenzo Nastasi says "We are expecting at least 50-thousand visitors to join us for the event. This is ther third year Balcones Heights has been home to the Cowboy Breakfast. We are officially the permanent home of the Cowboy Breakfast."
