Comedian Mike Robles comes to the Empire

Standup Comedian Mike Robles the original host of the Loco Comedy Jam performed at the Empire Theatre, Saturday, January 20th before a near capacity crowd. Local comedian Cleto Rodriguez the grandson of Congressional Medal of Honor recipient Cleto Rodriguez, also performed. Robles recently spoke to the monthly Latino Breakfast at Cha Cha's on Babcock where he performed an abbreviated standup routine.

The event was co-sponsored by Tino Duran's La Prensa of San Antonio & the LatinAmerica Broadcasting, Inc. (LAT TV) KISA/Channel 40.

According to Danny Hermosillo; Director of Community Affairs/Publc Relations, LAT TV, "we want to bring in Latino talent for our heavily Hispanic Community."
