Local Bexar County Democrats turned out to hear Gubernatorial candidate Chris Bell speak at the pavillion at Woodlawn Lake, Friday, November 3rd.

An estimated crowd of nearly 300 crowded around the stage as Bell encouraged them to vote on Tuesday if they had not voted early. Commissioner Tommy Adkisson served as Master of Ceremonies for the event.

Others addressing the crowd included: San Antonio City Council Woman Elena Guajardo who welcomed the crowd to District 7, Bexar County Democratic Party Chair Carla Vela welcomed the crowd to the Democratic event, State Rep. Ruth Jone McClendon gave a pep talk and State Senator Leticia van de Putte also motivated the crowd.

Former SA City Councilman Julian Castro introduced Chris Bell. Commissioner Tommy Adkisson also introduced all the Democratic candidates and elected officials who attended.
