Over 500 Democrats thronged to La Villita to pay off debt 10-14

Over 500 local Democrats thronged to La Villita Assembly Hall, Friday, October 14th to fund raise and pay off the local parties 200-thousand dollar oustanding debt to the County. By the end of the evening they met their goal and then some.

Major contributors included attorneys Mikal Watts & Frank Herrera, State Senator Carlos Uresti, & State Rep. Roland Gutierrez. Guest speaker: former Mayor Henry Cisneros.
