Enthusiastic supporters crowded into the Ariel House, Tuesday, September 26th to hear judicial candidate for Probate Court #2 Barbie Scharf Zeldes tell them why she is running for the Probate Court.

Scharf-Zeldes, a 13-year veteran probate lawyer who represents the families of the San Antonio Firefighters and the San Antonio Police Officer's Association shared stories on families in need of assistance.

She shared how a young six year-old boy who she once represented in probate court who had special needs, was lost in the system because the current judge would not hear the merits of the case and attempted to have the case transferred to district court out of his jurisdiction.

"It is time for a change for the better so that many of the forgotten will have a voice," she told a cheering audience.
