Bexar County Democrats pay tribute to former Texas Governor Ann Richards at press conference

The Bexar County Democratic Party paid tribute to former Texas Governor Ann Richards during a noon press conference, Thursday, September 14th at the Party Headquarters, 3010 N. St. Mary's Street.

Speakers included: Commissioner Tommy Adkisson, Bexar County Democratic Party Chair Carla Vela, Balcones Heights City Councilman Steve Walker, Northwest Democrats Chair Carrie Willborn, Congressional candidates Ciro Rodriguez, (23) John Courage, (21) along with Party Activist Cliff Walker and political consultant Jo Ann Ramon.

All speakers told personal favorite stories about Governor Richards who many affectionately referred to as "Miss Ann," and what her legacy might be for future generations of women who might follow in her footsteps.
