The political influence of the Tea Party on the national scene was again seen in the recent selection of Representative Paul Ryan as the vice-presidential running mate for Governor Mitt Romney's bid for the White House.  Rather than selecting a candidate from a critical battleground state, the Romney Campaign selected a fiscal conservative from Wisconsin who has earned the respect of the Tea Party through his tireless work at finding federal budget solutions that cut wasteful runaway spending by the federal government.  

The American people will now have a choice.
