Mourners turn out in numbers to remember Jimmy Parks, 2-24

Hundreds of local supporters from all walks of life swarmed to the Porter Loring Mortuary off 281 to pay last respects for the local icon, Jimmy Parks who died at the age of 61 Sunday, Febraury 19th at his home.

Judges, lawyers, blue collar workers, stood in a two hour line to see Jimmy Parks for the last time. Vacant parking spaces were scarce as people waited patiently to get into the building.
