Earth Day 2015 Fact Sheet
Earth Day is an official San Antonio Fiesta event that celebrates environmental awareness. This year’s free celebration will feature free trees, free plants, free bikes, environmental information giveaways, vegetarian food booths, and music and entertainment for the whole family.
Everyone is invited to this free family event! (No alcohol beverages sold- fun children activities) Earth Day provides everyone the opportunity to learn how to do their part in preserving our natural resources, the land, air, and water. The goal is to make every day Earth Day. The focus is placed on environmental awareness, recycling, conservation, and consumer awareness.
Saturday, April 18th from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
Woodlawn Lake Park, located at 1103 Cincinnati Ave (near the tennis courts) 30 Bicycles Given Away free with registration. 1,500 free trees given by CPS 1000. Earth Day T-Shirts available. 100’s of other earth friendly giveaways.
