The Mexican American Bar Association of San Antonio (MABA-SA) in association with the San Antonio Bar Association - Family Law Section, Hispanic Law Alumni Association, Association of Latino Professionals in Finance & Accounting, and National Society of Hispanic MBA’s would like to invite you to a Candidate Meet & Greet on August 21st from 5:30 p.m-8:30 p.m.

The event will take place at Bin 555 located at 555 W. Bitters Rd. The organizations have come together to create and event to expose their membership to the candidates running for election in the San Antonio region. We are expecting to have over a hundred people attend the event in which you will be allowed to pass out literature and if you so choose post information.

There is no need to worry about preparing a speech or having talking points. Because this will be a non-partisan event and candidates from both sides of the aisle will be invited to attend time will not permit each candidate to address the audience.

Our goal in this endeavor is to create an informal forum for the local professional organizations to get to know those who will represent their interests. In conjunction with our event we are asking attendees to assist the community during these trying times by donating a canned good at the door. All proceeds from the food drive will go to support the efforts of the San Antonio Food Bank.

While it is not required, your support would be appreciated. We encourage you to take advantage of this great opportunity. Should you have any questions or to confirm you will be attending please contact me, at 373-8859. Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you.

Sincerely,

Gilbert S. Gonzalez
Secretary for MABA
