Tribute to singer Freddie Fender in Corpus Christi

The Tex-Mex Fest: A Tribute to Freddy Fender was held Sunday, December 30th at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, TX.

Artists that performed paying tribute to their friend, Freddy Fender included: Little Joe y LaFamilia, Charlie Rich Jr., Augie Meyers, Johnny Rodriguez, Ruben Ramos, Emilio Navaira, Flaco Jimenez, and Clay Walker.

Rebecca Valadez madee a special appearance. Part of the proceeds for this event went to the Freddy Fender Scholarship Fund.
