Tammy Faye (Bakker) Messner dead at 65-cancer

Televangelist Tammy Faye (Bakker) Messner has passed away at the age of 65 due to cancer. Known with her former husband Jim Bakker as the head of the Praise the Lord (PTL)Ministries, she succumbed to colon cancer.

She had frequently spoken about her medical problems, saying she hoped to be an inspiration to others. “Don’t let fear rule your life,” she said. “Live one day at a time, and never be afraid.”
