Obama mania comes to San Antonio with office opening

Nearly 700 excited Democratic voters swarmed the downtown area for the grand opening of the new Sen. Barack Obama for President Campaign Headquarters on 3rd Street, Saturday, Feb. 16th.
Some supporters stood in the cold for nearly half an hour waiting for the doors to open before packing the house.
Congressional members, State Reps. former council members, along with the media listened to speeches and a video on the Senator.
It was also confirmed that the Senator will visit the Alamo City, Tuesday, Feb. 19th and speak at the Plaza of the Guadalupe Cultural Arts around 11:30 a.m. More details forthcoming.
