Lawn maintenance class offered to business owners
Professional educators from the Bexar County office of Texas A&M University’s Texas Cooperative Extension are partnering with the county’s Small, Minority and Woman-owned Business Enterprise (SMWBE) Program to offer a half-day course on lawn maintenance and turf grass management.
Professional educators from the Bexar County office of Texas A&M University’s Texas Cooperative Extension are partnering with the county’s Small, Minority and Woman-owned Business Enterprise (SMWBE) Program to offer a half-day course on lawn maintenance and turf grass management.
Proper lawn maintenance can enhance a company’s property and create an inviting feel for clients. Participants in this free class will learn about selecting turf grass, maintenance, fertilization, insects, water conservation and more.
The class will be from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, at the San Antonio Botanical Gardens, 555 Funston Place. The course is free, but space is limited so participants are urged to register early. The deadline to register is Jan. 18.
