Since January 1st, 2013, I have served as the Walker Report Publisher of this impartial and informational blog. I will still serve as a political blogger. Steve Walker will continue to take photos for the Walker Report that bears his name as well as Editor. As the bloggers, we will continue to strive to maintain the quality of photos and information we present to our viewers. Walker Report receives lots of requests to post upcoming political events as well as other kinds of events and if possible we cover them well. We do have a few rules we live by. A candidate can promote their campaign, but we don't post comments derogatory of their opponent. Also we don't post photos with people with eyes closed, open mouth unless they hold a microphone, or it is in context. We don't promote alcohol or cigarettes or unflattering photos. We are a family blog and adhere to those expectations.

Read La Prensa Texas every Sunday on editorial page for former Judge Steve Walker's column, "Just a Thought," that focuses on local Hispanic Icons like former HUD Secretary & Mayor Henry Cisneros, former Councilwoman Maria Berriozabal, deceased Archbishop Patricio Flores, activist Jaime Martinez, Tino Duran, & International singer Dr. Patsy Torres. Also activist Cesar E. Chavez. (based on interview with him as a KENS 5 Reporter in 82) Tino's son Steve Duran has now become Publisher fittingly on Father's Day.
