19th Annual Cesar Chavez March is coming to San Antonio, 3-28

The 19th Annual Cesar Chavez March is around the corner, and I am asking for your help to begin passing along the attached official flyer for this year's march. As leaders and centers of postive influence in your community you can help by inviting your family, neighbors, co-workers, and friends to come celebrate and pay tribute to the life and legacy of Cesar E. Chavez. Last years march was a huge success with 25,000 strong that marched from Avenida Guadalupe on the west side to the Alamo last year.

Our new official website will be launched on February 2nd. The website is www.ceclef.org You will be able to find information on the march as well as this year's gala where we wil be honoring community champions and awarding scholarships to area youth. We are excited to have ABC Correspondent and Host of the ABC show "What Would You Do"? John Quiones serve as our keynote speaker.

And last note, in the coming weeks you will be able to visit The City of San Antonio website and download the calendar of events taking place throughout the week leading up to the march.  I look forward to this year's celebration and seeing you all there.

March starts @ 10 a.m. Grand Marshal is Joe Hernandez of Little Joe Y La Familia.

8:30 am –  Assemble at Avenida Guadalupe. (Corner of S. Brazos & Guadalupe St) for a Blessing of the March Worship Service & Community Program.

See you soon!

Ernest J. Martinez
