Obituary for San Antonio Icon Milton Guess, passed away, 3-14
Milton Guess, a true champion of San Antonio and Bexar County, lost his courageous month long battle with pneumonia on March 14th and died surrounded by his loving family. He was 74 years young. By his request, the family will celebrate his life with a ceremony at the Freeman Expo Hall, 3201 East Houston Street, on Friday, March 22nd starting at 1 p.m. and the community is invited to share in this special tribute.
He is survived by his wife Norma, and six daughters, Terri Ann Guess; Cheryl Lynn Sekel and husband Joe; Shanna Kay Lindner and husband Larry; Courtney Teal Guess; Gretchen Lynn Farrar and husband Chris and Nicole Renee Juel, and four granchildren, Dustin Ross Lindner, Rodney Keith McMannen, Joseph Michael Sekel, Jr. and Haley Elizabeth Sekel.
In lieu of flowers, Milton asked that donations be made to one of his three favorite charities: the San Antonio River Foundation, Los Compadres de San Antonio Missions, or the San Antonio Parks Foundation.
