4/23: Public invited to Open House for proposed East Commerce Street Arts & Entertainment District

The City of San Antonio Planning and Community Development Department, in partnership with San Antonio for Growth on the Eastside (SAGE), will host an Open House from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29th, at the Heritage Room at St. Philip’s College, 1801 Martin Luther King Drive.

Community Stakeholders will have an opportunity to review and provide input on the draft standards for the proposed East Commerce Street Arts & Entertainment District.

The public is invited to join the Bexar Land Trust for their fourth annual Legends of the Land celebration. Funds raised from the event benefit the mission of the Trust to conserve open land in urban San Antonio, preserve the scenic beauty and enhance the quality of life for area residents and visitors.

Native American storytellers, dancers, and drummers whose ancestors camped on the banks of the river 10,000 years ago will engage us. Enjoy good and drink in the beautiful Los Patios campus. Gather around a real bonfire in the city!
