HTA campaigns hard & defeats 4 out of 5 school districts

The Homeowner Taxpayer Association took to the streets, held press conferences to campaign against five school districts to stop them from raising the tax base and defeated four of the five districts in the process.

Edgewood was the exception. Edgewood voters passsed their initiative by a margin of 52-47 percent. Those defeated included San Antonio, Somerset, Harlandale & Southside Districts.
