Lane and sidewalk closure outside Bexar County Courthouse
Beginning Saturday, Jan. 12, one westbound lane of East Nueva Street will be closed from Dwyer Avenue to South Main Avenue along the south side of the Bexar County Courthouse. This closure will affect handicapped parking and drop-off access on Nueva.
The main sidewalk leading up to the south entrance of the Courthouse also will be blocked. The south entrance will still be open, but visitors will have to walk to Main and enter from the side steps, near the Commissioners Court reserved parking area. Courthouse visitors also can enter from the east side on East Main Plaza.
The closure is expected to last four weeks while the contractor installs new drain lines to alleviate flooding around the courthouse.
