China Blue, a film by Micha X. Peled

China Blue takes viewers inside a blue jeans factory in southern China where teenage workers struggle to survive harsh working conditions. Made without permission of Chinese authorities, the film provides perspectives from both the top and bottom levels of the factory's hierarchy. China Blue offers an alarming report on the economic pressures applied by Western companies and the resulting human consequences.

Winner of the Amnesty Human Rights Award at the IDFA, and an Official Selection of the Toronto International Film Festival.

I look forward to seeing you there!
In solidarity,
Marc Jacobson, Director, Texas Fair Trade Coalition
