Melissa Monroe is a San Antonio resident and practicing media professional with over 10 years in the newspaper business. She's written for large and small newspapers, magazines and trade journals. Monroe has spoken to community and business groups over the years on how to utilize the media and different marketing tools for small business to get noticed. Through a local journalist organization, she has coordinated a yearly workshop for attendees to learn how to write press releases and the best ways to contact the media.
