Paula Jo, Sandy are back and now with Mary Claire for a Ladies Night Of Girl Talk & Songs of the New Year at The Steven Stoli Playhouse
Coined the “Lucy and Ethel of San Antonio comedy,” Paula Jo Peterson & Sandy Schwartz, (photo) will team up to bring men and women alike their annual ‘New Years Eve’ comical look into the lives of several female friendships in ‘Girl Talk.’
Added this year with be the velvet voice of Mary Claire Becan (director of The Song and Dance Studio at The Playhouse), who will delight the audiences with song before the show and during scene changes.
Girl Talk consists of situational comedic stories of friendship which offer expert advice about the lives of women at different ages and stages of life. They start out as 12 years in a school yard and finish out the night as two 80 year olds planning their escape from a nursing home.
Steven Stoli, who directed the play, said, “ I learned so much about women from this play… I just wish I had known all this years ago!! And Mary Claire… I could listen to her voice all night.”
