Mr. Smith goes to KSLR Christian Radio

Mayoral candidate Rhett Smith verbally sparred with KSLR Christian Talk Show Host Adam McManus, Wednesday, May 10th during a Mayoral debate sponsored by the radio station.

McManus took exception to Smith's attacks on Cornerstone Church Pastor John Hagee, accusing Hagee and Mayor Phil Hardberger as conspiring and supporting the "Zionist" agenda. McManus asked Smith to define "Zionism," after he questioned why Smith was even talking about Hagee, who he pointed out, "isn't running for Mayor."

The discussion went another direction when the two could not come to a consensus on the definiton of the term.
