Heroes & Heritage First Awards Banquet, May 22nd

Heroes & Heritage hosted their first awards banquet at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, Tuesday, May 22nd.

Col. Gil Coronado, (ret) former Director, US Selective Service System and Chairman of Heroes & Heritage founded the organization in 1995 in Washington D.C. to promote & provide visibility & eduction on the contributions that veterans have made to this country. The organization also specializes in diversity, outreach, recruitment & education efforts.

WOAI News 4 Anchorman Randy Beamer served as Master of Ceremonies. Retired Lt. General Riccardo Sanchez serves as keynote speaker.
