Casa Navarro Historic Site hosts reception










Champagne Reception at Casa Navarro Historic Site to welcome our ten consultants to the Friends Board and the Presentation of the Interpretive Master Plan.

Dr. de la Teja, Chairman of the History Department; Texas State University, President of the Texas state Historical Association, appointed by Gov. Perry;Texas' first State Historian.

Dr. Felix Almaraz; Peter T. Flawn Distinguished University Professor of Borderlands History at the U.T.S.A, was just appointed to represent Latin American Borderlands history on the U.S. Commission of the Pan American Institute for geography and history.

Dr. Andres Resendez; Associate Professor, Department of History at the University of California, Davis.

David McDonald, Historian, Author and former curator of Casa Navarro Historic Site.
