Thanks Friends and Supporters. It is with great respect and humility that I express myprofound gratitude for the vote of confidence of 45% of the vote this past election day. Thank you fromk the Heart!

I want to especially recognize the band of loyal block walkers, phone bankers, volunteers of all kinds and all parts of town that rallied to my campaign. Thank you from the Heart!

To my tireless hardworking family and my campaign staff: You are The greatest and Thank you from the heart!

To the Express News for your endorsement, the Walker Report for all the great coverage, the many west side businesses that fed our volunteers, and the community leaders and elected officials (far too many to mention) who have called to congratulate and support me. Thank you from the Heart!

However, we are not through yet. Don't get comfortable. We have a great opportunity to energize our community and bring pride to our District. The election process is difficult but it one of our most prized privileges we enjoy as Americans.

We've had a few days to enjoy. The victory so let's put on those tennis shoes, polish our talking points, get on the phone again and let's wrap this up with an even bigger victory on Tuesday, June 12th.

We are excited that early voting starts on Saturday, June 2nd and runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The polls will also be opened on Sunday June 3 from noon to 6 p.m. to accommodate the many working Families in our district.

Early voting continues until June 8th with week day voting from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Election day is Tuesday, June 12th. For rides to the polls please call 300-6516. To all the campaign workers out there getting bored now that your candidates are In please join my camp.

My district will make history by electing the first Hispanic Woman in District 5 as Councilwoman. We need you and welcome you to our team. We are happy to announce the opening of a campaign headquarters at 1500 South Zarzamora next to the Farmers Market.

Special thanks for the generous support of Former Councilman of District 4 Frank Wing and west side community leader Frank Sepulveda. We are ready to send an army out in the streets on election day And prepared with vans to take people to the polls for early voting.
