Bihl Haus Arts to host a Kids Poetry Party, April 3rd

Bihl Haus Arts will host a Kids Poetry Party with Poetry Path as part of its April Poetry Month, Thursday, April 3rd from 4-6 p.m. @ 2803 Fredericksburg Road, inside the gate of the Primrose @ Monticello Park Senior Apartments.

Check out the Bihl Haus Arts website for other events to include: Friday, April 4th & Monday, April 7th.

I need your support once again. Today begins early voting for the Republican run-off election for Constable, Pct. 3 Bexar County. I have endorsed Mark Vojvodich! He has great experience in serving our country with years of service in the Sheriff's department as well as years of service in the military. He has returned from service from Iraq where he was training Iraqi police. He is committed to serving us and taking the office of Constable in a proactive direction that will benefit the citizens.

Some artwork of local artist Carolina Flores is temporaily on loan to hang on the walls of Councilman Justin Rodriguez's District 7 office, located @ on the corner of Hillcrest & Babcock @ the Balcones Heights City line.

Rodriguez invited constituents to join him at his District office Sunday afternoon, March 30th to view the artwork and visit with the artist.

Democrats throng to District Conventions to elect delegates

Local Democrats thronged to local Senatorial Conventions in record numbers to elect delegates to the State Convention in June, saturday, March 29th @ four different locations.

The four Democratic Senatorial Districts drew literally thousands of participants who stood in line for hours to register as delegates, Saturday, March 29th.

The conventions turned into virtual marathons as long lined formed at each location. At the 26th Senatorial District held at Alamo Stadium Gym next to Trinity University reports of nearly 2-thousand precinct convention delegates flocked to the gym. Some participants parked nearly half a mile from the site.

The last delegate registered at 4 p.m. Doors opened at 8:30 a.m.
