6th Annual Night of Hope: Fundraiser for the Children of Gaza
- University of the Incarnate Word, San Antonio, Texas
  
  Saturday, November 16th at 6 p.m.
- We're back for our 6th fundraiser! With the help of your generosity, we've been able to host five fundraisers to benefit children of Gaza and we're excited to announce our latest one. This year, we will be hosting it at the UIW's Student Engagement Center and we'll be focusing on Palestinian culture. There will be a silent auction, Palestinian fashion, arts and crafts, music, food, henna and more! We will also have poetry readings, including a reading from special guest and San Antonio's own, Naomi Shihab Nye! Our beneficiary this year will be the Middle East Children's Alliance, whose website can be found here: https://www.mecaforpeace.org

A candidate can promote their campaign, but we don't post comments derogatory of their opponent. Also we don't post photos with people with eyes closed, open mouth unless they hold a microphone, or it is in context. We don't promote alcohol or cigarettes or unflattering photos. We are a family blog and adhere to those expectations.
