Roger Walker passed away July 11th to be buried @ Ft. Sam, 7-23
71 year-old Roger David Walker passed away July 11th @ Hospice Care @ Audie Murphy Veterans Hospital after unable to receive a liver. He leaves a wife of 30 years, Pongsri Walker of Thailand where they oversaw the Tree of Life Christian Childrens Center & Orphanage.
He also worked at the Gideons International, former teacher @ Buriram United, Studied Education Management at University of Texas San Antonio, Studied History/International Relations at University of Mississippi, and studied History @ Tulane University.He attended Niskayuna High School in Schenectady, New York.
He is survived by his wife, Phongsri, daughter Tawnee, son Sam, daughter Shelley, son David, daughter Maribeth, brothers Steve, Jeffrey, Mark, Kelly & Sam. His father Seymour Walker passed in 1965 @ the age of 62, and his mother Eileen passed in 2002 @ 81.
Roger served as an officer in the Army in Augsburg Germany at the same time brother Steve was serving an Army tour there on another base. His other three brothers Jeffrey, Mark & Kelly all served in the Navy.
