Bexar County Democrats will march in the SA Pride Parade, 6-29

Greetings Fellow Democrats, The Bexar County Democrats (BCDP Official) will be marching in the San Antonio Pride Parade this Saturday Evening. All LGBTQIA Democrats and allies are invited to walk with our Chairwoman Monica Alcantara. We will be meeting at the corner of Dewey Place and North Main in front of the Silver Dollar Saloon. We are Entry #172 Section D. We will have glow sticks and glow bracelets to help light the night (300 or so, while supplies last) We need some volunteers. We need 2 who will carry our Bexar Democrats banner and someone who would like to carry the Lesbian Pride Flag and someone to carry our Transgender Pride Flag. Thank you Anthony Cruz for carrying our Gay Pride Flag. Please post your name if you wish to help with flags and mention which one you'd like to carry. We can take turns too if there are several who want to participate. Please bring a backpack with your own frozen water bottles for hydration along the route. It's going to be a warm one. We will be forming our group at 8pm, parade starts at 9pm. Note to all allies: Please be mindful that this is a parade celebrating our LGBTQIA friends and family and it is their event.
