join us in fighting crime and violence in our city, by promoting a solution. Powerful leaders in preparing for the next generation to excel in our communities. We must all united in fighting crime in our own back-yards. We have seen a sharp increase in violent crime in the past 14 days.

While law enforcement is crucial, the solution to the problem is far m...ore complex. Our Police Department has been working to build relationships and partnerships with the community. We need to educate our residents about available resources, reinforce the notion that violence is not acceptable and help community leaders improve neighborhood surroundings to create more peaceful environments.

All forms of violent crimes include murder and criminal homicide (voluntary manslaughter), forcible rape, aggravated assault, and robbery, property crimes include burglary, arson, larceny/theft, and motor vehicle theft, drugs, human trafficking, crimes against human rights, and child abuse.
